Discover why Wickham’s Fruit Farm is a cherished Long Island destination for farm-fresh pies, cider donuts, scones, and produce. A 5th-generation gem worth the trip!

Tucked away on the scenic North Fork of Long Island, Wickham’s Fruit Farm stands as a shining example of what makes local agriculture so special. A proud, five-generation family-owned farm, Wickham’s offers more than just produce — it offers tradition, hospitality, and some of the freshest, most flavorful goods you’ll find anywhere.

From the moment my family and I arrived — admittedly right before closing — we were greeted warmly by Mr. Wickham and his staff. Their kindness, even at the end of a long day, immediately set the tone for what turned out to be an exceptional experience.

I was lucky enough to snag the last two ears of corn in stock, and I only wish there had been more. They were so naturally sweet, I didn’t need to add a thing. It’s rare to find corn this fresh unless you’re growing it yourself.

As a seasoned baker, I hold scones to a high standard — and Wickham’s freshly baked raspberry scones were nothing short of spectacular. Moist, flavorful, and filled with vibrant berry flavor, they rival any I’ve made at home.

But the real standout? Their apple cider donuts. The moment you step onto the farm, you’re enveloped in the warm, spiced aroma that could make anyone a donut lover. I’ve reviewed hundreds of bakeries and restaurants — I’m ranked in the top 10% of reviewers, with over 80 million views of my reviews — and I can confidently say: these are the best cider donuts I’ve ever had.

Another showstopper was the raspberry peach pie. This isn’t your typical store-bought pie. It was bursting with thick, juicy slices of peach and a generous helping of fresh raspberries. You can tell it’s a family recipe — lovingly crafted, well-balanced, and unlike anything I’ve tasted before.

Wickham’s Fruit Farm is more than a farm stand; it’s a slice of Long Island heritage. Whether you’re visiting solo or bringing the whole family, it’s well worth the drive. Don’t be swayed by the occasional negative comment — this farm-to-table destination clearly pours heart and soul into everything they grow and bake.
